What We Do

Outdoor living we build

Interlocking pavers are the backbone — here's what we shape them into around your home.

Paver patios

Interlocking paver patios set on a compacted, draining base and edged tight, so they stay flat and joint-true instead of shifting and weeding up.

Walkways & paths

Front paths and garden walkways that connect the yard cleanly, laid level and slip-aware so they're safe and easy to walk year round.

Fire pits & seat walls

Built-in fire pits, sitting walls and planters that turn a flat slab into an outdoor room you'll actually sit in after dark.

Patio covers & pergolas

Pergolas and patio covers that add shade and structure overhead, so the space works in Bay Area sun as well as it does at dusk.

Set on a base built to last

Excavation, compacted aggregate, bedding sand, tight edge restraint and joint sand — the layers under a paver patio are why it stays flat instead of sinking and spreading.

Why Us

Why interlocking pavers over a poured slab

A patio is a long-term part of your home. Here's why we build most of them in pavers.

They flex instead of cracking

Individual pavers ride small ground movement that would crack a poured slab in one hard line, so the surface ages gracefully instead of splitting.

Any one paver is fixable

If a paver is ever stained or damaged, we lift and replace that one — no jackhammering and re-pouring a whole slab to fix a small spot.

They're laid to drain

Set on a graded, draining base with sanded joints, a paver patio sheds water instead of holding puddles across a flat concrete pad.

Design you can't get from concrete

Colour, pattern, borders and banding let the patio match your home and planting, rather than reading as a plain grey rectangle.

What Bay Area homeowners say

Genuine Google reviews from projects we've built.

"Extremely impressed with attention to detail, including drainage — things I never knew or noticed. Very hard workers, and the daily cleanup was appreciated. The whole team just wanted it all to be right."

"Mike and his team did a great job with our backyard. From concept and layout to execution and final clean up, everything was done professionally, on-time and to the highest standards. I would highly recommend them to anyone."

From flat slab to outdoor room

Fire pits, seat walls, borders and overhead cover turn a patio from a place you cross into a place you stay.

Patterns and borders that fit your home

Colour, banding and layout are chosen to match your house and planting, not dropped in as a plain grey rectangle.

Good to Know

Questions about paver patios & walkways

Why pavers instead of a concrete slab?

Pavers flex with small ground movement instead of cracking in one hard line, they're laid to drain, and any single paver can be lifted and replaced without re-pouring the whole surface. They also come in colours and patterns concrete can't match.

Will weeds grow up through the joints?

A proper install with polymeric joint sand and tight edge restraint keeps joints locked and heavily reduces weeds compared with pavers dropped on sand alone. It's the base and the edges that make the difference.

Do pavers get slippery or uneven?

Laid on a compacted, graded base and edged properly, they stay flat and even. We also talk through paver texture for walkways and pool-side areas so the surface suits how you'll use it.

Can you add a fire pit or cover to my patio?

Yes — fire pits, sitting walls, pergolas and patio covers are some of the most popular additions. They're what turn a bare patio into an outdoor room you use after dark and in the sun.

How long does a patio take to build?

It depends on size, access and features, but most residential patios are a matter of days once we start. We give you a clear timeline with your written scope at the estimate.

Where do you work?

We're based in Livermore and build across the San Francisco Bay Area, including Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
